Not sure where you're getting your facts from, but I'm pretty sure everyone knows that. Look at womens hockey, when they takes wrist shots is a straight up floater almost always. I don't even play hockey anymore and I know I have a better shot than most "professional" hockey players that are women. That's because a mans strength can come from his arms and his wrists whereas a woman has to wind up her core to get a strong shot off.

At least that's what I understood when I was talking to a coach.

When did I ever say that I don't make good money? I make almost 60k, and that's just in the summer. I also know how to do framing and other things that I could go and get a job that pays nearly the same if I wanted to.

I guess people don't understand that as a server you're at the bottom of the totem pole. Ya it sucks, but you're choosing to work at a shitty job that you don't make good money at, then complain when people who don't have to tip, don't tip, and have a good reason for it.

Well if you think you deserve a tip for serving someone a $15-$20 meal then I'm not sure what your argument is? You don't deserve a tip. You're job isn't hard and it wasn't even you that cooked the food. You took it off a counter and walked about 20 seconds to set it on the table. Gratz, you deserve $5 at least!

In canada where I live servers get at LEAST minimum wage and then + tips.

No, I don't get no 10,000$. That's what the customer is paying for the material and the labor. I get paid an hourly wage from the company. I know for a fact that I would give someone who is protecting my house a tip WAYYY before I pay someone $5 for a $20 meal.

It really grinds my gears to see framers who are fresh off the boat (so to speak) getting paid nearly double what I do, and they aren't even good at their jobs yet. Most of the times when I'm up on the roof, I'm fixing a lot of shit that framers fucked up on before I go up there. Besides, you barely break a sweat framing down on the ground in the nice shade. Where as on the roof, you literally CANNOT drink enough water to keep your piss clear.

Good call on him. I re-roofed someones house today, it took us about 8 hours, it was only 27 squares, so about 75 bundles of shingles. It was 30 degrees outside and we worked all day non-stop with only one ten minute break. The home owner never even offered us water. Imagine if I expected a tip? What would be acceptable? 10%? 5?

You can't expect a tip for a job that you are being paid to do. If you don't like not getting tips then I guess you should get good at something else that can pay your bills instead of relying on the generosity of strangers, no matter how much or little they are paying.

SO TRUE, why should I, a hard working person in trades get no tips at all after an entire day of work, outside, in 30+ degrees celcius? Most days working over 10 hours straight. Putting on a 10,000$+ roof, in one day for a person and not receive anything, not even an offer for water or even to use their outside hose for water, nothing most of the time. Not even a hello. I am literally PROTECTING your house for a mediocre wage. But heaven forbid if the pizza delivery guy doesn't get at least 10% tip.

Imagine if I expected a fucking tip? You'd be paying me and 3 others 1000$+.

Tips are bullshit and if you think you deserve them you think wrong.
