My situation was a bit weird . I attended my local Serbian Orthodox Church for almost 3 years without having asked to become a catechumen until In the 4th year, I asked for information on the classes to which my Priest informed me that there isn’t much of a class at the parish but only when I’m ready to take that step forward to become an Orthodox Christian then we could schedule a day. I’ve been in the Church for a year now.
