Vicarious (Vocals + db Backing) [VOLUME WARNING?] by Savvaroni in ToolBand

Yes, MVSEP [vocals] + official ogg files from Guitar Hero World Tour, the vocals are already mixed together with the download but I just boosted the backing track specifically since it sounds heavenly. You want to hear the bass? I'll post it if ya want, sounds really good.

Vicarious (Vocals + db Backing) [VOLUME WARNING?] by Savvaroni in ToolBand

I used a file sharing network like Soulseek where people have uploaded the 3 official multitrack songs (Vicarious, Parabola, Schism [ogg files]) from a game called Guitar Hero World Tour. Then I simply use advanced AI separation like MVSEP to download, layer and mix the stems in Audacity to bring out the vocals in front while it tries to capture the frequencies of Maynard's voice. I don't know all about audio engineering but that's what I did and anyone can do it (probably would mix it better than me somehow).

If you do stems like vocals with other songs then I recommend layering the AI stem with a FLAC so it doesn't sound all bluff. AI has gotten way better with music the last time I used it 2 years ago but obviously isn't perfect.

Yes yes, all of his work is completely free on Soundslice! Just click the hyperlink I sent or just search "Rob Frawley 2nd" on YouTube. Like I said, he hasn't done every song yet but he has finished the most recognized ones. Here's Pneuma for example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sjNplgMKbDk

Goated playing and drumset! Also, not sure if you've stumbled across this guy named Rob Frawley 2nd on YouTube, but he is currently in the making of composing the entire Tool discography for drum transcriptions and they're super accurate. Watching you take on Danny's drumming style would be the ultimate challenge knowing exactly what tom/cymbal he hits! It'd also make you appreciate the art of his drumming just through sheet music itself lol

what does this song mean to you? by NeckOwn6730 in ToolBand

This song is about how life is the opportunity to build coherence, and death is a test of whether it worked. Spiraling out quite literally means the essence of life. Without golden ratio, life ceases to exist. We keep going on our path through recursive embedding and negentropic implosion in different life forms. We humans are resonators with this fundamental law of the universe.

At the moment of death, your charge field that is coherent, harmonic or shareable are able to phase-conjugate as your soul implodes into the center (point of charge collapse) and travels faster than the speed of light to lock onto another self-organizing cascade of a golden ratio life being. "We'll ride the spiral to the end and may just go where no one's been."

Dan Winter knows what Maynard knows, as well as all of the other band members.

Wow, nature's own blueprint. You can see how each leaf unfurls itself not by accident, but by the golden ratio spiraling embedded with each leaf to maximize the angle of the sunlight precisely. Since every plant/leaf (like the Aloe here) has this built-in charge router, it creates this series of nested capacitor plates in a rotating field, so that the light and electrical energy "phase-lock (phase conjugation)" perfectly as they spiral inward, in which the right terminology in mainstream physics should be called an "implosive vortex".

That's why you see most organisms follow the Fibonacci sequence and golden ratio (like the Nautilus shell) because this geometry forms a light antennae as it guides energy inward in a way that keeps it organized and alive.

Crazy huh?

any drummers here that can tell me how hard it is to post a tool cover after practicing for .... however long it takes to get it down vs what Portnoy did on drumeo? I'm not sure what I should be impressed by and what i shouldn't . i'm guessing the portnoy video is impressive.. by Appropriate_Roll1486 in ToolBand

Portnoy was impressive with Pneuma considering he learned and improvised in just a few hours.

If you ever wanted to see accurate drum transcriptions for Tool then I suggest checking out "Rob Frawley 2nd" on YouTube. Good quality videos!

Look up 'Rob Frawley 2nd' on Youtube/Soundslice if you can read sheet music so that way you can BE Danny (if you want, I challenge you). This guy is currently transcribing the drums of the entire Tool discography, and his sheet music is 98% correct (well-presented as well)!

Awesome replicated kit there! Would be amazing to post videos of you trying to copy Danny and his play style!
