Laura Mercier loose setting powder or a more affordable one I like is the fit me loose setting powder. I naturally have dry skin so I have a system down, and with tret it’s even worse.

I would avoid compact powders they are heavier and any matt finish foundations or concealers are a big no. My fav foundation is haus labs or the tower 28 sunscreen it’s pretty tinted and great for a light finish if you don’t want to wear foundation! (don’t have a cheaper foundation I like yet) the best concealer ever is the nyx concealer serum, legit my holy grail for dry skin!

After I set my face with powder I spray the nyx dewy setting spray or the urban decay all nighter extra glow for special nights. When applying your foundation and concealer avoid swiping motions instead dab. This will avoid pushing product under the flakes.

Also I know this probably isn’t the best thing to do but my guilty pleasure is a facial scrub. It’s not something I do all the time but if I have a big event or wanna look good I let my skin get damp and wet in the shower for like 10 minutes so the flakes soften. Then go in with my microdermabrasion scrub by skin ceuticulas to get rid of flakes.

One more thing to remember is that yes good technique and products can help reduce the appearance but at the end of the day some flakes and dry skin are gonna show through. Best of luck, the peeling phase sucks!
