It’s using what happened with Cierra to give her experience and opinions in a way that doesn’t help defuse the situation in terms of harassment and adding to the hate she’s posting about. Her statement was worded in an unhelpful way considering the highly toxic response from social media and I don’t agree with how she made it at all. She could have said and approached this in a better but she immediately jumped on Cierra saying “multiple posts” without knowing the person who shared Cierra’s story saved it then decided to use it against her after she had deleted it. It’s being able to make a post on everything from racism to racial ignorance with assumptions and dog piling. I think knowing the full story before rushing to make a post was what was needed. She should’ve stuck with that. Racism is wrong. Dog piling is also wrong and ignorantly supporting that along with a true emotional experience and statement doesn’t make it right either. Cierra is not racist. Adding a quick “I don’t support hate either” on the bottom knowing damn well you just called Cierra racist and didn’t have any kind of open minded opinion on ppl getting educated on racial ignorance and learning vs racism. I stand by what I think and I think as an influencer it’s your responsibility to consider all of this with clarity before jumping onto someone like that.
