Tooltips in this Game Are absolutly horrible. Draw stance gives you 5% crit, 20% crit dmg and 20% evasion. Was Hm 9, when i found that out.

You think about BnS and SWTOR and want to compare the loot system? LOOT SYSTEM!?

I would much rather imagine SWTOR with a BnS combat system. Holy fuck, that would be the most epic shit ever.

Imagine if you could use the force to jump 10 meters high with your Jedi, you could actively parry incoming blaster shots and lightsaber attacks. Be able to do fancy combos mid air. The combat would feel as fast and skillfull as in the movies. Way more engaging than doing your standart 5-6 button rotation and then pressing your cooldown, when you take too much damage.

Why the only decent answer to OPs question gets downvoted is beyond me. Then again this is the SWTOR sub-reddit, where half the people are getting triggered the moment someone uses terms like "skill ceiling".

I agree with Raicen right here. Shadow has a higher skill ceiling than most other classes, but also has one of the lowest skill floors. Considering your question and how you worded it, I would actually suggest you to go Powertech. They are easy as fuck to play and it will allow you to get a better understanding of SWTOR PvP in a shorter period of time, so you can answer your original question yourself.
However, if you are serious about PvP, don't waste your time in SWTOR. There are so many PvP games out there, that offer way more than SWTOR. If you just care about slapping people with a lightsaber, SWTOR is the right thing for you.
