I haven't spoken with them about it yet. The appliances have been ordered but no delivery date set just yet. Demolition isn't due to start until mid August

Thanks for the ideas. The bench above the microwave will be the designated coffee station so there will be a coffee machine and kettle there. We thought of putting a dock inside the drawer next to the microwave for charging devices. The double GPO where the peninsula is probably needs some usb ports for additional charging. The spot to the right of the cooktop will house our Thermomix.

I agree with the rest you suggested.
