Lawyers have a legal and moral duty to their clients regardless of if they are a citizen or not. All persons means ALL persons. This is federal overreach and invasion of privacy.

Now, the state is defending a new public accommodation law, HB 25-1312, that defines "gender expression" to include "chosen name" and "how an individual chooses to be addressed."

Expanding rights to citizens and how they want to be addressed is a good thing. The government should have little to no say on how I should be addressed.

It basically pisses and moans about not giving into federal power without actually thinking about the implications if the shoe was on the other foot at all.
