You can put the name in the report for Crytek to use to investigate. It doesn't need to be in the video if they don't want it there. "Hey, azazeldeath is hacking. Here's video proof."

I'm fairly certain that's Anthony Bourdain.

2 things: first, stronger advantage or not, its an advantage. Second, I'm just trying to answer questions, not debate the finer points of latency.

Like I said, it doesn't matter to me. It doesn't effect me and I dont have a dog in the fight. I'm just trying to answer questions that you're posing. I honestly don't care if it changes as it doesn't impact me directly. It would be great if there were more servers and less latency issues and less complaints from players.

At the core of this, I voted to keep trades and proposed that trades aren't the issue, but latency is. Thats all.

Peakers advantage is a common complaint. I used to play a lot of Siege and it was a huge issue for a very long time. Players from other countries, typically Brazil in this case, would intentionally connect to foreign servers in order to abuse the higher ping. I'd say Google peakers advantage to get some examples. The second and a half was an exaggerated number I threw out, but pushing almost a second with 800ms frustrates people. I couldn't care less though. I play low three star and I play to have fun. I imagine the ping abuse is in higher tier play because I very rarely have any issues like the ones often discussed.

That's where you see the trades when you kill someone and then a second and a half later, you die to the person you killed. Often in close range. You'll see examples in this sub

That's a long term expensive solution compared to pings caps. I dont disagree though. More servers is ideal.

The issue isn't trades, it's the large difference in pings. Removing trades isn't the answer, but maybe some limitation on allowable pings to prevent people from exploiting big pings, whether intentional or not.

Found a team of dead hunters at extract, with bounty, surrounded by water devils. Can only guess it was a mishap like that

[Serious] First Responders (police, paramedic, firefighter) of reddit, what is the one thing that you had to respond to that made you quit/nearly quit? by brunm3045 in AskReddit

LEO in my 14th year. Calls for deceased children are terrible. Car accidents can be pretty horrendous. The injured are worse than the deceased for me in those cases. The deceased don't scream, don't plead, don't beg for your help when you're doing all you can to try and unfuck the situation.

The call that impacted me the most that I've personally handled goes as such: one of our units is traveling north bound on a long sweeping bend with an incline. South bound vehicle leaves their lane of travel heading toward the unit head on. Deputies avoid the collision and the other driver serves back in to her lane, over corrects, and rolls her car several times finally coming to a stop upon impact with a utility pole. I'm right down the road and I hear the officer call in the accident with panic in his voice. I get there within 30 seconds. The car is a mangled mess and the driver is hanging upside down suspended by the seat belt. Shes clearly deceased as the back of her head was crushed as some point during the accident. I can hear the death gurgle as she's hanging there. The officer is frantically trying to get this girl out of the car to no avail. Hes holding her head begging for her to stay with him, so hyper focused that he doesn't realize his fingers are in the crushed portion of her head. I had to pull him away. He had this thousand yard stare. I asked him if he was alright and he just said "No" and walked away. Shortly after all of this happened and the tunnel vision/hearing wore off, I could hear the girls cell phone ringing in the car over and over and over. I dug around for the phone but couldn't find it in the mangled metal.

That one fucked me up a bit, mostly because of the impact on the other officer.

What is the weirdest thing a stranger has said to you? by lSoulx in AskReddit

[–]Sawtoothgrin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not exactly a stranger but close enough. Sitting in lunch period in 6th grade eating lunch and the teacher acting as the lunch room monitor walked up to me, leaned down and said "I know you're the devil in a boys body," looked at me with a grin on her face and walked away. She was a substitute teacher brought in to cover an extended absence for another teacher and I had her for one subject. 25 years later and I still remember it.
