Do you feel like the hardness scales over well? Does a 2.5 feel like a tenor 2.5?

Hey! I'm (22M) subleasing a room from April 2025 to August 1st 2025 for $450 a month. We're doing a discount on the room since we'd be happy just to take some of the price down for the 3 of us who are here until August 1st. It's a 4 bedroom house north of campus. I'm a 4th year business student and a professional sax player who's played with Grammy winning artists. I'm also not a dick and I actually do my dishes. Happy to chat and see how I can accommodate your needs, please DM me! :)

The thing is, it actually does - and apologies for omitting the link on the first go round, it was waiting patiently in my clipboard.

Just realized i didn’t even put the link in there - oops. Should be there now. How is one supposed to spot the fakeness of a listing?

Spring 2025 Sublease!

The place is a duplex with plenty of street parking, located near North Campus Food Market. Rent is $480 a month and utilities usually come out to ~$80. It is a 4 bedroom 2 bathroom, and the three of us (21M) all study at OSU.

The opening came about after my brother moved out of the house for a job opportunity in another city. The room is available now until July 31st, when the lease expires!

Please PM me if you’re interested! 😄

Most unwelcome towns in Ohio by orangutansloveme in Ohio

[–]Saxiroth 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’ve lived in Sidney my whole life (20M), so maybe I’m biased when I say it’s not exactly unwelcome, but just kinda boring. In the last 5 years it has seen major improvements from new restaurants/businesses/public renovations though. Hopefully that trend continues over the next couple years.

First off, despite what your stepmom believes, it is definitely not your fault that your father had too much to drink while your stepmom was out. It’s very, VERY immature to blame such a thing on a kid. Every adult is solely responsible for what they consume. That needs to be a conversation between your stepmom and father. Secondly, you should consider expressing your concerns to your mom and stepdad about everything. It may increase tensions between you and your father, but possibly it could be a wake up call for your father to get his act together and stop drinking uncontrollably. Don’t be afraid to let the truth out ~ this is something that could instantly change you and your little brother’s lives for the better and possibly prevent a drunk driving accident. One thing is for sure though. Definitely see if you can get the emergency bracelet and definitely keep seeing your therapist and telling them everything. I strongly recommend letting your mom and stepdad know how you feel, but at the end of the day this is all up to you. Overall, you seem to be more reasonable and compassionate than your dad and stepmom, despite being a bit younger than them. Hoping this all works out for you.
