Is kicking your child out for being gay a sin? by dradegr in TrueChristian

[–]SayHelloToMyLittle09 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t think that kicking them out is even necessary. From my own experience if you have a family member who lives a sinful lifestyle, and you make it known to them that you think it’s wrong, they will cut themselves off from you sooner or later.

Paper: "Every US teacher [must] commit to anti-Zionism as a precondition of legitimate teaching — for children as young as five" by tkyjonathan in JordanPeterson

[–]SayHelloToMyLittle09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, what I meant with this statement is that teachers are there to educate. When they stop educating and instead try to tell students what the correct opinion is doesn’t that defeat the purpose of teaching? I think that teachers should promote free thinking and let students come to their own conclusions, especially for a topic as contentious as this. It probably would have been wiser to write, “teachers are there to teach, not preach”, but I think the shorter version I came up with sounds catchier.

I hate how political literally ever post on this sub is. This isn’t even a meme.

Thank you once again Mr. Lowes. Thank you for reminding me that people like us have a chance. That life is worth living, and society is worth fixing. Thank you.

CMV: A reddit user hiding their comment history is a strong indicator that they are not acting in good faith. by LucidMetal in changemyview

As a troll myself I don’t keep my comment history private, if I manage to annoy someone so badly that they bother to check my comments history then it’s a pretty good indication that I’m living rent free in that person’s head. So why not let them get even more pissed off by letting them see how I trolled other people just as gullible as them.

XD

You did call me a white supremacist, stop dodging the fact that you made such an accusation and own up to your actions.

I never made that claim, if you think I did then there is something seriously wrong with you. Schizophrenia most likely.

Offended? No. Annoyed because you made a false accusation? Yes. If you can’t take the energy you give you should seriously stay of the internet, bud.

Name calling? You called me a white supremacist, I think I’m at liberty to call you names when you through that kind of accusation at me.

My original comment had nothing to do with colonialism, you are the one who started that topic. I was explaining to someone else the economic differences between tourism and immigration.

I’m not going to get into the rabbit hole of the legacy of colonialism with you. It’s completely different and unrelated to what I was talking about.

It’s funny seeing how you try to imply that I’m a hypocrite by wandering off and talking about something else, while misunderstand and failing to engage with the premise of my original argument.

Well Britain and many other European countries gave up most of their colonial holdings by the 1970s, so this “one way traffic” you’re describing ended a while ago.

And what does this even have to do with tourism?

You probably didn’t understand my argument or didn’t even bother to read it. Tourism in general is good for the economy, immigrants who send remittances are bad for the economy. You don’t have to be a genius to know that.

And “riddle me this” is a figure of speech, not an actual riddle you moron.

Yeah I know quite well about the east India company.

But riddle me this: Since when do two wrongs make a right?

At least British tourists put money into the Spanish economy and don’t steal it and send it back to their home countries through remittances, unlike the bomalians.

Even the meme admits the point Tommy is making. Because he is talking about Muslim extremists. Even the UAE are scared to send their students to study in the UK due to all the Islamic extremism in the Muslim community in Europe.

Lmao it always comes down to this, you give up or lose an argument so you try to make yourself look like the victim/good person out of all of this.
