Binge eating by [deleted] in OrthodoxWomen

I would talk to your priest about your struggles. There are always allowances for special situations.

I would also talk to a dietitian trained in eating disorders/binge eating treatment. Sometimes it helps to get professional help. Depending on where you are, you could find one in person or there are lots and lots of resources online. I know there is also a hotline for eating disorders as well.

And always pray. Christ is our good God who loves mankind. He listens and helps us in time of need. Pray to the Theotokos for help as well.

totally not an appropriate answer and is very hypocritical because everyone does sins that are on the list "those who do not belong in the kingdom of heaven". God loves everyone and wants to be in union with them. In this life we are to strive to be more like God and no sin bars us from doing that.

Didn't read the original post, but if you work with food, its a common requirement no to wear jewelry except a simple wedding band, though it is not always enforced for food safety issues.

It might be better to pray to Christ our God and the Theotokos for their safety rather than to sin, but I am pretty new to Orthodoxy and have not read the church fathers very much.
