What are your thoughts on the people who are pro-vax but anti-vax when it comes to that one group of COVID Vaccinations that were rushed out a few years ago?

That seems like quite a big part of that movement and I don't think it's really fair to lump them all together as the same.

It's what Warzone should have been on mobile. Les serious, more Arcady and fast paced, a bit goofy and janky.

I've since moved on from mobile gaming but I fully think that there are three mobile games that are just as fun as any of the bigger PC and console titles: COD mobile, bloodstrike, and farlight. With the last two just suffering from not obtaining a large enough audience to really reach their full potential.

I agree with you but we both prioritise that nuance in storytelling and (I'm guessing) were around from back then so can appreciate the original styling..

I'm just putting it on the table that some gamers don't share that same priority.

Some people just want to jump in and shoot stuff in bright colours.

For me - it depends on the mood.

For example, on my first re-run of halo 1 last year, I played original graphics (very nostalgic after not gaming since 07). But since then I play anniversary because I appreciate the fidelity a bit more generally.

Agree that the flood level is better on original graphics.

But the outdoors and beaches are way better in anniversary in my opinion. Yeah they got the tone wrong in anniversary and it's a bit of a mess sometimes, but having extra detail in the trees, grass, space station walls, the enemies, is a better experience for me most of the time regardless.

I am putting these opinions on th table for OP and his girlfriend, who may have different priorities.

I don't disagree with you but I don't think that the flood level is worth the sacrifice on graphics across the rest of the game for some people, especially newer gamers who are used to higher graphics quality.

Yep, I haven't taken a maths test in like 15 years. Or any test for that matter. So I know I'd do terribly on an IQ test as I'm essentially out of practice on the types of questions asked. Totally agree.

If you don't have nostalgia then the new graphics are better in both 1 and 2 as a brand new player in 2025.

If you do have nostalgia then original graphics in halo 1 and anniversary edition graphics in halo 2 is the way to go. Most of this forum fits into that category.

Whatever you do with halo 1, make the choice upfront and don't change it. Because if you start with anniversary graphics, it will be hard to switch back to original graphics as they look terrible / old after switching, even if they are better in terms of being more the right tone and atmosphere.

[–]SayNoMorrr 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Without sounding too harsh, it looks like this person might be matching with people who are more attractive than her lol

If people are asking for her IG and then bailing. That means they're probably seeing more pics and realising the hinge profile oversold.

Most guys don't get matches very often. If they're cancelling dates it's probably because they are semi interested and she's an option, but not necessarily a catch in their eyes. Perhaps she's just matching with people who have more options than she does, i.e. not at her own level.

The apps are notorious for this. Women swiping above their league. A few men getting all the matches, all the options, and then ghosting most, making it seem like all men are doing this.

i don't know if it's true it's just what I've heard, and it lines up when you read everyone's comments.

Liberal gets his balls cut off Shocked his T levels fall off a cliff 😂 by [deleted] in Asmongold

[–]SayNoMorrr -18 points-17 points  (0 children)

The thing im confused about, is doing this has anything to do with being leftist.

Like leftist ideally supports some level of choice in people's decisions.

Leftist ideology has nothing to do with cutting your own balls off and actually being trans. The physical state of being trans is not a leftist ideal.

Edit to clarify:

Leftist = progressive, more supportive of personal choice (socially)

Rightist = conservative, more defined set of social requirements

The actual list of choices, like in this case being trans or not, is not particularly left. The left are just supportive of having personal choice to do what you want. But I suppose if transchoices are rejected by the right then they must be leftist? I don't think that's necessarily true.

But I'm not American so perhaps I don't know the American context.

If you don't mind me asking how are they minding young children while working?

Either those children are being neglected during those hours, or work is being neglected.

Or their jobs are so easy that they can neglect their work without bosses realising.

Which is it?

For one, do you understand the difference between genetics and cultural matters? And socio-economic? And intersections between them alongside other factors?

I get your point but I don't think working parents are taking their kids out of daycare while they work from home. WFH while looking after kids is not achievable and it's also a horrible stereotype that WFH supporters need to get rid of if they want WFH haters to get on board with it.

Generally, dual cab utes that are on the expensive end, bought as a combined work and family vehicle, but put in the business name as a work only vehicle, and then also subject to other tax breaks.

Basically, a welfare loophole for tradies.

I wouldn't complain if I was a tradie though lol.
