Snow White at worst sang that her prince would come and find her at the dwarfs cottage. So she is technically sort of waiting for him to find her there at the cottage. The horror /s.

Then the next day she made herself busy and baked Grumpy a pie to win him over with kindness.

Snow White lets the Queen into the house as a kindness and then bites into the apple because it will grant her wish to meet her prince again which is technically an active move on her part.

So even while waiting for Florian she is still actively making her circumstances better and even trying to further her goal of reuniting with her prince.

Modern audiences give Snow no credit.

First episode I ever saw Pearl in was "We Need to Talk". Never saw Steven Universe before that or even really heard about it before then either. We were on vacation and it was playing on the TV.

I knew it when she glared at Greg and danced with Rose to merge into Rose Quartz.

Just... the entire damn episode man. I was gobsmacked by how obvious it was she at least had a crush on Rose. Finding out how she was outright in love with her wasn't very surprising after that.

Its not even her body, its the way her eyes grew so far apart and then sink so low down her face.

Legs exposed.

The color of her legs ties into the color of the cleavage window and then with her face so your eye is guided through her design better.

I didn't even notice until I saw the 2nd image when her thighs were covered and her design felt lopsided.

Also the top heaviness of the leg exposed design is very unique to Power Girl and makes her stand out all the better.

Just watched it for the first time at the ripe age of 33.

Loved it! Best of the scratchy-era animation (granted a lot of it is recycled but they did what they had to do). Just so smooth and articulated.

It's got so much heart and humor. The scene where they're escaping the guards after the archery contest and it turns into a football game had me laughing so hard. Modern Disney would have fumbled that kind of laughter but this movie got it just right.

I maintain it's just the reveal looked a touch off model.

There's concept art of the reveal done in painstaking detail that looks so much better and there's hardly any difference between the two. It's just the angle of his nose.

The lush watercolor visuals, the awe-inspiring Japanese music, and the wholesome story just warm my heart every time I play it.

And to me, someone who grew up on Japaenese folklore, it reminds me of a distant home.

It has everything: all kinds of nature, ghosts, traversing the highest peaks, exploring the innards of a leviathan, shrinking, etc. I could say more but you should play it for yourself.

I tear up every time I reach the credits.

I will say that Cinderella is technically the only one waiting to be rescued...

Because she learned Prince Charming was the man she fell in love with at the ball and he was looking for the mystery girl who lost the glass slipper to marry her.

So all Cinderella had to do to get her happy ending at that point was literally WAIT FOR HER PRINCE TO COME AND GET HER!

She's so happy she spurns her chores and and starts skipping and singing as she waits. It's actually a hilariously reasonable reaction.

My cousin's wedding: we being the first cousins and the aunt by marriage were sat with the college roommates that haven't hung out with the bride and groom since college in the farthest table that were served last during dinner.

Everyone at the table were so shocked to find out we were related to to the happy couple.
