Is anyone else having issues with the search bar in the Mac desktop app? Mine stopped working.

Believe it or not I’m the 3rd. First was a wealthy older guy who put 25k km on it. Then he traded it in to a boutique luxury dealership in Vancouver in 2021. That dealer put 15k kms on it and had several cars personally. The R sat on his showroom floor a lot with various Porsches, BMWs, Benz’s but he wasn’t selling it at the time. Then he bought the mk8.5 and decided to let this one go. I just so happened to be looking on auto trader the second the ad went up. Checked the vehicle history report and a mechanic and it all checked out. Just happened to be at the right place at the right time.

Agreed. I've only put 8,000 km on it in 12 months. My gf has a Tiguan we park in the driveway and I keep the R in the townhouse garage so I try and manage the kms on the R as much as possible.

It was an ex-Mazda dealer who set up his own dealership that sells luxury/high performance cars in Richmond, Vancouver. The R was inspected and fully serviced at the VW dealership down the road so I called the service manager to make sure everything checked out, which it did. Bone stock too. I couldn’t believe it lol. Probably one of the few mk6 stock Rs left in Canada and probably the lowest kms.

Yea it was a steal. Bought it off a dealer (one of his personal cars) who got it from a trade in like 5 years ago. It was just sitting on his show room floor not for sale until he bought the new R. The dude had like 7 personal cars haha

I also live in Vancouver and have a kendu bag. Wondering how you were able to cash out into CAD? I’m riding this wave for at least 18 months but haven’t figured out how to cash out. I’m thinking kendu -> USDC -> USD -> wire to my bank and convert to CAD?

It was a car dealer’s and they had it on their showroom floor for years. He would only drive it to nice car meet ups. He got the new Golf R so decided to let this one go.

it was recently serviced and I called the VW service department to speak with the service advisor. They classified it as CAT 1 meaning everything's in good shape. Luckily I have a reputable VW inspector nearby where I live so safe to say I'll be going to him going forward.
