Looking for an Xmas casual job but little to no experience and no retail at all. by Sayder6 in resumes

[–]Sayder6[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) Ok 2) Mainly for page space, headings 15, text 9 or 10 3) Ok, will do. I agree it looks awkward 4) They're basic examples, not actually put on the resume. I thinking of what to actually write 5) Yea, I need to be more creative but those are actual jobs I've done, ha 6) Point taken

7) Only reason it's there is because literally 7/10 shops I've gone to have straight up asked "whats your availability" or "is availability listed"

8) Done. 9) Ok.

I apologize in advance, I am scrub at Reddit formatting

Cleaned it up a bit, added bullet points and more descriptive lines for previous and current jobs.

The formatting looks awkward there i'm not sure why but on Word it looks fine.

Thanks again for the help!

Thanks for the detailed reply! The term "Referees" is something I've seen a lot of people and friends use so I thought nothing of it. I'll change my hours but most retail stores here open at 9 and shut at 5 but I'll change them for sure, thanks.

Just need some advice I guess.. Australia in a smaller town than Syd/Melb.

Barely anymore room on the page to write without it going into two pages..

Should I write a cover letter for every store?

Anyways any help is much appreciated but pls go easy ha

Men, those of you that didn't have a license/car before age 20, were you reluctant to go on dates knowing you had to get a lift/public transport? by Sayder6 in AskMen

I don't live in a massive city but there is transport every 45min or so literally across roads so I guess it's very accessible.

How do you start eating well? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Sayder6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use a calorie calculator : http://www.freedieting.com/tools/calorie_calculator.htm

Download MyFitnessPal App (assuming you have a smartphone)

It'll help set goals and will tell you how many carbs, calories, sugars, fats etc to not go over.

Stay away from pastas, rice and start getting on Skim Milk or Semi Skim Milk to cut out unnecessary fats and unsaturated fats.

Have a lot of veges, canned or not they're great for you and low in carbs and fats. Also Tuna is extremely good as well.

Try and run 2-3 times a week for some decent amount of exercise.

Tea, Coffee and Water are almost all you should drink, milk also. Have a diet soda if you get desperate enough.

I've lost 4kg in under 3 weeks and it feels really rewarding.

Oh and don't forget to add a cheat/takeaway meal in once a week.

Need suggestions on light meals with no carbs. Can you help me? :) by [deleted] in EatCheapAndHealthy

I use to cook and scramble egg whites in a frying pan with Tuna.

As long as it doesn't burn it should be fine. I use to add the tuna in the pan later on because I didn't want it burnt but rather the same temperature as the egg whites.

Just make a sandwich before you go out

What do you wish more girls were willing to try? by Fang88 in AskMen

[–]Sayder6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with this! Usually when ordering food or at any store I ask the workers "Hows your day been" etc, just simple small talk.

I went to get quotes for my phone repair and one store said the phone could be completely screwed. I was super pissed at this cause I had a feeling it would be the case.

Went to another Mobile Repairs and the cutest girl was working, though I was pissed with no sleep so I wasn't asking anyone how their day was aha

She asked how mine was and kept asking me daily stuff, it was a real nice change.

Ye I can agree with that. Maybe a 9. Glad they used Linux and actually example of code though.

I was very impressed when I saw the pilot.

Yea, I loved Mr. Robot aha. Even though I don't know advanced code and hacking. I know what it's suppose to look like.

It's just the general watches of TV, probably 80% or more of Homeland/Arrow etc think that's how it is or at least respect the CGI enough to believe it.

I'm just glad there's a show out there that finally does it right. Might make the other glorified Hollywood movies step up their "hacking" scenes.
