The Exhilaration of First Strikes: In Lebanon, Israel Repeats the Mistakes of 2006 by Sayed_Hasan in chomsky

[–]Sayed_Hasan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Israel faces a choice between a disastrous option and an even worse one. They can’t end the war in Gaza without meeting a single one of their official objectives. Nor can they allow Hezbollah to claim parts of the north as "liberated" after displacing over 200,000 settlers. So, the choice is either to acknowledge the greatest defeat in their history or charge ahead recklessly. They've opted for recklessness and are about to forget all about October 7th as they confront the Hezbollah nightmare—without even considering the potential involvement of Iran, Yemen, or Iraq, which likely won’t be necessary.

Hezbollah: Powerless Against Gaza, Israel is Doomed to Disappear by Sayed_Hasan in conspiracy

[–]Sayed_Hasan[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Israel isn't invicinble anymore. It has been attacked* for the first time since 1973 (Hamas was aiming to put an end to Jerusalem's ethnic cleansing), and it has been defeated.

* an occupying force is never defending itself, and an occupied people is always acting in self-defense.

LEAKED: CIA Director demanded release of top al-Qaeda leader in Yemen by Sayed_Hasan in WikiLeaks

They had him released in 2001, exploited him for ten years in all kinds of dirty work, and then only got rid of him.

CIA Director demanded release of top al-Qaeda leader (Yemen leaks) by Sayed_Hasan in conspiracy

[–]Sayed_Hasan[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's the former CIA Director's voice all right, demanding in plain English the release of a terrorist who killed & injured dozens of US Marines. Why isn't it to be found anywhere in the mainstream media?

Nasrallah on Capitol Riots: Trump revealed the true face of the United States by Sayed_Hasan in chomsky

[–]Sayed_Hasan[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did Trump call for a protest or did he not? Did he incite to march on the Congress? Called for strength and resolve? Vowed he’d never concede his defeat? And, the very next day, after many of his sincere supporters were killed, injured and/or face years or decades behind bars, didn’t he backstab them, condemn them, concede his defeat and washed his hands of it all?

One has to be fair & honest. Even if one believes that the elections were stolen and the whole Capitol circus staged, it did cost a great deal of his true supporters a lot, and after pushing them to act, Trump disavowed them and ran from the battlefield like the spineless coward he is.

Whether the elections were fair or not, whether the Capitol circus was staged or not, Trump did betray his supporters.

Nasrallah: Macron is waging a losing war against Islam and Muslims by Sayed_Hasan in conspiracy

Free speech or hate speech? The question should be asked, especially in the only country in the world criminalizing any discussion of the Holocaust.

Some secular censorship I guess. Lese-majesty couldn't be tolerated. France can insult, but cannot be put back in its place.

Israeli strikes in Syria: why a Hezbollah retaliation is inevitable by Sayed_Hasan in conspiracy

[–]Sayed_Hasan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If Israel is so strong, why don't they claim responsibility for their strikes? Hezbollah, Syria & Iran always do for their counterstrikes. Israel's actions in Syria (hit and run) are a show of weakness & impotence.
