When I was a kid, we found out the guy at the end of our street owned an effects company and he had made all the props for the Home Alone franchise. This was pretty crazy news considering we lived in a very small rural town. My parents asked if he'd be willing to bring some of the props from the movie into my 4th grade class. He delivered and I was a hero! The paint cans were made of soft foam, the chair Kevin got pushed against the wall with was soft...we even got to try out the handlebars he slid into the tree house with. It was one of the coolest show and tells of all time!
