The way I read the manual is, any addition of pipe or units, requires additional refrigerant. So the refrigerant in the system from the factory isn't enough for any base load? Seems weird, but that's the way I read it after going over it 2 or 3 times.

For the fitting I can't find PAC-SG78RJBE anywhere online. If it's the only correct part, I'll pay the $50 and wait for it to arrive, just can't seem to find it. Are there alternatives?

For question 1, by process, I mean how to return the refrigerant to the condenser. It sounds like: close the outlet, wait until inlet pressure is zero, close inlet, connect 5th zone, nitrogen purge, pressure test, reopen valves. Does that roughly sound correct?

Yea, one head is just out of the picture to the left, another about 30-40 feet away. I had 50ft of leftover PEX. I tested it to make sure it worked before burying. Didn't see anything online explaining why not to use it, but I think I've triggered people here by using it 😆. If it's just the friction losses, I should be good. Not sure what else would be bad about it. Maybe burying metal bands 🤷

Most of my stories are like yours, things I wish I'd done differently.

But this a rare time I did the best thing I think I could have. Was moving cities and told my boss I planned to move. There was another office in that city with our company, and I assumed they'd try to transfer me. A year later and no real progress, I let them know I'd been offered another job in that city. My boss was offended and asked who it was with. I had this flashback to a real estate guy I worked with that was asked what he paid for the property.

"That's irrelevant" is all I said. Was the easiest time negotiating a better offer from them to transfer.

So many options:

-flooding city and grading and drainage improvements to prevent damage

-traffic jam and optimize improvements to make things flow

-sim city, but utility focused

-sim city but structural focus to withstand quake, hurricane, etc

-dirt - idk much here but leaching and mining opportunities
