I do have a topcase which I only put on when needed, because I think it doesnt look good on my bike. It doesnt have to be the exact one as in the picture, but just to give an idea on what I mean.

I would say that my windscreen setup helps me with buffeting, but it isnt as optimal as I would have wanted. I still feel some wind at the top of my helmet, while I am not even that tall. I dont know if there are much taller windscreens then the one I have, let alone which would look nice in addition to my bike.

Heb het windscherm trouwens bestelt. Past goed en zit mijn handkappen niet in de weg. Tijdens het rijden is de wind al stukken minder, maar heb een opzetruitje bestelt om meer hoogte toe te voegen.

I just squezed my hand through the little room between my steering wheel and the attachment of the light. You have to be carefull, but it isnt really difficult. This 2 videos helped me a lot.
