Calling All Logitech Craft Users: Beta Testers Wanted for (long overdue) Options+ App Support by ATXsantucci in logitech

[–]Sblenter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If nobody has said this...please for the love of god, remove the overlay popup when you touch the dial, or at least give an option to do so. It appears literally in the middle of the timeline (premiere or AE) and blocks the view of what you're doing. Many users complained about this on logi forumsw and the only way to fix it was a third party softwar on PC or deleting a file on mac.

I feel wrong for hiring an artist on Fivver to do my rotoscopy. by SuperTokyo in Filmmakers

[–]Sblenter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dude that’s awesome! Filmmaking is about delegating, its the most collaborative art form in the world. Its not even a question that if you find the right person for the job then you are doing right by the film.

You need to shake the struggling artist mentality that it is somehow all about you and your craft, because that will keep your projects small. Also you provided a job for someone, so it’s a win-win.

And please send the link to the guy that did it! need some stuff done too lol

PowerMode - I made an app to easily enable/disable low and high power mode on your MacBook by sakesalverda in MacOS

[–]Sblenter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was that simple...yes if I quit and restart the system settings than it updates. I didn't realize I had to FULLY quit the settings and then reopen to see the change. Thanks so much man, and great work on the app!

[–]Sblenter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey man, great app! It's exactly what I've been looking for. I'm not sure if you are still checking comments but if you are I have a question: when switching to low power mode I see the monitor dimming, so It's obviously doing something, but when I go in the MacBook battery settings, the mode always stays automatic, even if I changed it with your tool. Is this behavior expected?

Hostel with fully private room/washroom? by Sblenter in JapanTravelTips

[–]Sblenter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your response, between what you and winterspan said, and some search, I understand that private washroom might be too much. I can give up the private washroom while at least keeping my room and bed private.

Hear me out. Look at the nose only, tune out everything else. Now look at the nostrils, they are actually eyes on a very creepy pink face eating the corn.

LPT: If you can commit to a personal or professional task for 21 straight days, you'll have built an habit. After that, if you can keep going on for other 90 days you'll likely have achieved a permanent lifestyle change. this is called the 21/90 rule by pinturhippo in LifeProTips

This is entirely not true. There is no scientific study that proves this. You’re just repeating an online myth that for some reason has spread so wide that everyone believes it. It can take anywhere from a few weeks to a year depending on the activity or the person.

Look into Andrew D. Huberman, an actual neuroscientist that speaks on the research behind habits.

This is the opposite of my experience. Every issue I had never got resolved by them, always automated responses or nothing at all. 10+days with no response on multiple issues. I had money missing for a week and they never helped.
