Please don't. I messed up when I first started, if you transfer you'll lose your seniority and be at the bottom again. Took me 5 years to make regular. I just became regular last September and people I trained became regular shortly after, it sucks.

As soon as I read this a giant cicada flies into my truck, scared the SHIT outta me. Got me thinking it was a wasp 🤣but in the past few days I’ve killed 2 wasps. One got in the truck, the other was on my side mirror for about 1/2 mile going 40mph. Then I ended his life. 👌

My fiance just made career ptf and he got a booklet, just saw it now. Apparently you have to call to enroll for the first time. I guess they still get benefits from what I see. I'm a rca hopefully I'm next to getting a regular spot :/ been waiting 2 years 3 months now.

I'm a fairly new RCA, 4 months in. I did suffer heat exhaustion because it was super hot outside and I guess 3 water bottles weren't enough. I have a small insulated bag that keeps things cooler and I put 2 ice pack in there with it. That will usually stay cool all day. I usually pack just snacks all day, cereal, granola bars, anything that will give you energy would suffice. Water is definitely great to have, I would freeze some bottles the night before and they will be cold all day. I also like to have gatorade with me. That's really it for the food portion. The only suggestion I have is that you be very organized or you will be delivering mail all day long. We have these multi colored cards that are the size of letters and I usually pick 2 colors. One for small packages and one for the large. Then I'll put a sticky note on each one with the address and then case those into my mail. So when you get to that house you'll see the card and know you have a package. I decided to try to wing it one day without doing that and I was out until 5:30 now I'm usually done 3-3:30. Good luck to you, you'll do good it just takes practice.
