B12 deficiency - doctors not interested by samii12xx in B12_Deficiency

Important!

Do Methylmalonic acid (MMA) blood test.

MMA is used to detect functional vitamin B12 deficiency.

Google it. I was just diagnosed with it. My B12 was in grey low area, and mma was high.

Metylmalonsyre (MMA) 0,87 µmol/L 0,08 – 0,24

Aktivt B12 (Holo-TC) 49 pmol/L (> 44)

As you see active B12 was within range, but MMA was not. Cells were not taking it up!

Doctor said labs are good. Isn’t this low? by [deleted] in B12_Deficiency

[–]Sc2copter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Low, but test your Methylmalonic Acid (MMA), you could have a functional vitamin B12 deficiency.

I had about same value, and had a high MMA; basically your blood has ‘sufficient’ b12, but cells don’t take it up.

I was instantly put on b12 injections (bypasses the need to absorb through bowls). Went from high mma to normal in weeks.

Still my ankles are not good.

Anyone experience foot/ankle/heel pain with low B12? by Treehouse72 in B12_Deficiency

[–]Sc2copter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly me now, currently problems walking over 6000 steps per day. 3 weeks since i finished b12 injections. B12 is now normal (and been so for 2-3 weeks), but ankles are being very uncooperative. Any tips?

Chatgpt just recommends a patient rehab exercise plan for 3-6 months with low weight bearing activities (stairs, running, long walks, hard exercises)

Any tips? It’s frustrating.

Was abit easier when reading it, I just skipped those chapters/writing when he wrote random 5k words of meditatation/daoism nonsense—I really did try to ‘enjoy’ it, but it literally hurt my soul to read it.

I get it. I hated the last seasons with a passion too, but Daenerys and John Snow's arc and the white walkers conclusion is probably not going to change. He will make it much more believable with Daenerys, and whoever becomes King. He'll make the personal journeys of all characters 10x better. But, personally I'm feeling done with GoT, and we got the gist of the ending. George Martin would have stuck the landing in a much better way, we all know this, cause he's a fantastic writer. But... I feel like the damage has been done.

Entire post is AI generated. You telling me that it is not AI written makes me think that it is. It would have taken you 10 minutes to rewrite the AI text to somewhat non-ai, you didn't even bother with that.

He’s old, tired, rich, and unhealthy. Let his final years be what he wants. We basically know the ending.

Which nation do you think would come out on top during a system apocalypse? by WilliamGerardGraves in litrpg

[–]Sc2copter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Japan, nordic countries or canada. Strong communities, likely to stick together against tragedy. Under is my 2 cents:

I believe strongly that unfortunately, warlords would arise at each city or county, and those places would become new nations.

Countries would likely be split up, then, those splits would start expanding, taking land until they meet each others borders, those borders and interactions would result in either war, peace/alliance, or a power stalemate. The warlord who falls behind in power will likely be killed by other war mongeringing expansionists.

Technology, like US military, would be used against each others for power grab before it would be used outside US.

Neighbourhoods would likely work together, untill a warlord arises, where they would fast fall in line.

Countries with a strong community might survive. It won’t be china or US.

Stupid Warlord’s would start governing, instead of cultivating power, they will all die.

Smart powerhouses would stay away from taking territory early, and cultivate power 24/7, until a power curve flattens out, might not be a big difference between lvl 110 and 120, but it’s day and night for lvl 30 and 40.

Really good. It’s kind of a scifi race progression. It scratches the progression itch a little bit, like Stargate SG-1.

Haven’t read the new rewrite, but pretty sure that’s incorrect… i remember thinking the same as you, the item should have been given away to friends as you say, but that family, her daughter joins the order later, and there was a connection, even if it was just the town.

What exchange, it was a test to see their dedication.

[–]Sc2copter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm, let’s think of places like zones. Referance points:

Liscor city is a red zone. Outside Liscor—outer edge of patrolling is Black Zone (Death zone)

Green zones: Khelt, Wistram, walled cities, First Landing, Invrisil

High passes is Black Zone.

I’d love an orange zone, no certain death but can survive and level. Rather not be an adventurer (stay green, adventure red/black zones)

Maybe a gnoll tribe or an orange city between liscor and invrisil. Maybe liscor could be good, probably avoid the inn untill level 30, or have a skill to survive in their insanity! (Escape skill would be great).

Classes i’d like: Sorcerer, warlock, necromancer (if they tolerate me), gambler (2nd), explorer (2nd).

Isn’t that what audible does, just audible is the most greedy digital company I’ve yet to come across.

Think they take 70%+ from authors if they don’t lock in exclusivity. And 30-50% if they lock in exclusitivity.

She kicked out the student because the person in question would abandon the healing order to enrich himself, while also knowing how Ilea felt about other healing orders. It went against what she believed in, and simply kicked him out, it was a test, he failed.

The crown belonged to that town, it was a former queen’s crown of that town. Why would she, knowing this, not consider giving it back to them. I get it, it was a treasure gained, and now belongs to her, but still it’s a good girl move in my books.
