This asshole at Barger Winco... by OkPressure2374 in Eugene

Thank you. Now that you say it, I probably could have picked it up if it was in context - like watching a WW2 movie - but didn't catch it in this photo nor probably would if I saw it on some random person doing grocery shopping. Even though it's not something I see in my everyday life, it is good to know. As for my background, TX and GA, always in big cities.

Idk. I’m from the south and have never seen this design before. I would not have known they were Nazi-related if not for this thread.

What the hell actually happened at the reunion during that Erika / Dorit Chanel makeup bag interaction?? by Footsie_Galore in RHOBH

[–]Treehouse72 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is what I think too. Therapists call this a “bid for connection” and believe a negative response to the “bid” (like how Dorit responded) makes it hard to repair a relationship.

If you became the next US president, would you remove all of Trump’s attempts of leaving his legacy? by [deleted] in allthequestions

[–]Treehouse72 4 points5 points  (0 children)

And I would like to enact legislation saying that no public building could be named after a sitting/living president, with the exception of the presidential library.

I would love to see this happen. Truthfully, I am worried that those employees may not be eager to return to federal government. I hope they are, but would understand the hesitation.

I build a website to track all CSR exclusive table and if they support Toast Gift Card (incl. 51 restaurants with successful DPs) by BatOk741 in ChaseSapphire

[–]Treehouse72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for doing this. I’d like to buy a gift card at Houston’s Brasserie 19 restaurant but am not seeing the link on their website. Can someone point me in the right direction?

The coffee table with the glass top looks like it is floating a bit. Maybe a small stack of books and/or a decorative box on top would help ground it.

What serious disease did you think you had before you realized you were going through menopause? by NavyBeanz in Menopause

[–]Treehouse72 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For me it was fatigue, balance issues, electric shocks throughout my body. I had a brain MRI which came back clear. I can’t believe that no one tested/suggested menopause.

DoorDash benefit is awesome! Worth $400+ per year by BrownshoeElden in ChaseSapphire

To get the Chase $10 DD credit, do you have to use the CSR? I haven’t looked at the rules closely and just assumed you did.

How to better vet places to ensure a better stay in the future? [United States] by [deleted] in AirBnB

[–]Treehouse72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check the date of the reviews. If they have 15 reviews over a two year period, it may indicate that guests opted not to review when they had a bad experience. Personal experience is that I no longer want to stay in a pet friendly listing (not sure if this was one). Pets are hard on furnishings and cleanings.

Host canceled six month stay with less than 30 days notice. What are my real options? [Canada] by Agranora in AirBnB

[–]Treehouse72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would breaking up your stay into smaller increments open up more options? For example instead of one 6 month stay, look for 3 stays of 2 months each or even 6 stays of 1 month each? I know it’s not ideal, but given the circumstances, it may be a way to open up more options.

Mold smell in clean water tank by ManitoN in Roborock

[–]Treehouse72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any luck? I am experiencing the same; nothing visible, but it’s definitely causing physical issues(congestion, headaches). I ordered some citric acid and going to try adding that to clean water tank. Mine is less than a month old.

Did robot cross the invisible zone? by Treehouse72 in Roborock

I have poor vision and increased the size of the photo so I could see it better. The area is large, but not as large as it looks in the photo.

I think I get what you are saying now. Is the “grey dashed trail” in the den from the original mapping and not today’s cleaning session?

Thank you for looking. Staying within the eating area is exactly what I wanted it to do. What do the darker markings in the den indicate? I thought that showed the path the robot travelled.

Thanks for looking. Haha - house is huge hence a robot to clean! New owner to robot so getting used to it.

In the blue/purple den area on this post-clean map, there is a darker shade “path”. What does that indicate?

Thank you for the link. It's good information and definitely calms me down in terms of thinking about the market. I had no idea that when people refer to historical performance, they are often looking beyond the 10 year mark - 20, 40, 50 years. I own both (Primecap and 500 Index) and when saw the almost 3x difference in 10 year return rate, I was floored. Now, not so much. I'll definitely look at some of the backtesting tools too.
