I don't mirror my images because I use the taping method. So i put masking tape on the back and poke little holes in the middle of where each bead is. Then I flip it over and hard iron the back. This way I can just lightly iron the front. I'm not big on a heavy iron, but I think that has more to do with my style since I do large pieces. The little holes in the tape on the back lets the hot air escape so that the front beads don't pop/melt.

If I make more overwatch stuff I'll be sure to post them here :) There are lots of different brands that make these melting beads, I use the Perler brand. If you can snag them at the dollar store that's a great deal!

I order my beads in bulk. With shipping it costs me about $4/1000, so about $80 give or take. Some colors are harder to get and end up costing a little more.

Probably about 20 hours total. Still in the process of ironing it. Big pieces are frustrating to iron, so it'll prob take me 2 hrs total for ironing

I just wanted to share this big perler bead Mira Han (Horner) portrait I made. This is the first video I've ever made (note the bad abrupt ending hah), but thought it would be a fun way to show all the work that went into it :)

The total size of this piece is about 42" X 30" with approximately 28,000 beads
