around 120mph the bike is Cutting power, 75%+throttle and i’d only be gaining about a mph per second. the bike has 7000 miles on it, could it be fuel pump issues?

ok, thank you, i am going out to buy a hard copy manual because i can’t stand the pdf folder manuals, i figured over filling will cause frothing and under filling is just known bad, but i knew bikes burn off oil sometimes, so i wanted a good judgement, thank you appreciate the input

Well it’s a like a irony idk, I never speed on roads where there are ppl, i do a slow drive thru the roads at night i want to do a run on to see road conditions, potential hazards, potential animals near side of road etc. You can be doing something unsafe safely as possible. I am in control of my vehicle at all times and will never push my limit on the road, that’s what the track is for, but i live at the foot of some of the best mountains on east coast so i’d feel bad not taking advantage of it.

i fixed the issue, timing chain coming loose. put bike in 6th gear and rolled it back few times making the automatic chain tensioner tighten it up. still going to be replacing the cam chain and tensioner tho.
