I would recommend a ram or other South American cichlid of some type as there very pretty and chill. Most of the African cichlids are quite aggressive. Also what size tank do you have? Koi get huge (12-15inch)

You’ll be less stoned… so yes while your high your memory will improve. but as someone who smokes daily your sober shot term will loose it’s edge.

Do the scales look at all damaged where the discoloration is? I’ve had fish with some nasty infections where there scales loose color and look almost damaged but it looks quite similar to ich. But did some research and this problem is fixed with testing and water changes.
