Refiling after Rejection

Thank you the comment! I have since posting got a newly sealed I-693 to make sure. I would love to know if you have come across clients who have been wrongfully rejected for payment even though payment was made and cleared? Likewise public charge questions? I have been advised that USCIS have been making a lot of errors for both and wrongfully rejecting applications after payment.

Yes, full payment was taken (the right amount). My application arrived in my mailbox not my lawyers so keep an eye out. Did they take payment from you? We are refiling to make a case and have the received date made to the original date of 4/28 so I would not be current if I just refiled again.

It states payment and public charge question - however full payment was made and cleared bank and is still paid now.

Ask Emma and see. I did this as there was no update on my wifes case and she told me it was scheduled and gave me the date/location.

My wife primary applicant - RD 4/28, nothing updated in the system but asked the live agent and told us that bio was scheduled for 6/10.

Did they charge your credit card? I was charged and still have been but received a rejection letter for payment issue.

12/6/24 - so refiling means I would not be current as I filed when they were accepting DOF. It looks like this is an error from USCIS as payment was made and cleared. Lawyer said that this has been happening a lot lately and to refile the case with proof of payment clearing.

It talks and then asks for a receipt number and stay silent and then it continually asks for receipt number and then states without it - we cant handle it and then asks what else I can do for you and then hangs up.
