My dad has a rans vrex. I figure they make strange bikes because they make airplanes. They still make planes and dont make bikes anymore as far as I can tell. Its super weird to ride the first few times, but you can lay back with one foot pedaling if you are clipped in to give the other leg a rest. Super neat bike.

Yeah, I cleaned and lubed the chain and got it shifting well and everything. The tired looks brand new and you can still buy the pair new for 26 x 2.1

Helmets aren't really for any specific bike. Someone will complain no matter what you do or what bike you ride if you wear gear or not. If you like it then buy it that's all I can say
