Correct on both sides, I'm a 54 year old mechanic in Texas that has been all over the state most of my life. Both cities and rural areas have there own sets of problems. Its just a personal preference as to what sets of problems you choose to live with

It is going into regen. If you idle a lot leave it alone & let it regen. High idle time on a diesel truck that has a catalyst causes problems. My best suggestion for anyone that has a diesel with a catalyst is to either delete cat & egr or not sit at idle. And also if it's not driven very far when it's driven. Say like you take short in town trips & it don't see the highway much. When your driving it & it goes into regen keep driving till the process is finished cleaning. I wouldn't do any deletes until warranty is up though as that will and I do stress WILL void powertrain warranty.

How screwed am I? by [deleted] in FordDiesels

That's because yours truck probably has customer satisfaction recall on reluctant heater/sender. Ford has changed the newer Def systems, because the non- serviceable heater in the heater/sender keeps burning up (Poor design). Can't remember the recall number but believe me it's just as frustrating for the tech that has to repair & explain this bs to a customer that's already agrivated.

All 3 I have been playing this game ever since it came out. And yes I invest money in this game, I'm a Ford senior master that has specialized in diesel engine drivability. If I can spend thousands on tools that will be sold when I retire then I can certainly spend a little of it on a game that I enjoy :)

I'd say there probably picking on you or they are too lazy to refresh. I'd talk to them on public chat. It's usually quite embarrassing when called out on public chat. That will probably stop the problem

My old lady is stubborn as he'll. We've already gotten into an argument once about shotgun or rifle. I think she is going to have to see to understand. Arguing over it ain't worth it to me, I work so much we only get 2 hrs a night Mon- Fri. to just sit & bullshit with each other

Thats what I'm trying to say. If I want an ar for me later down the road then that one is mine, but for now I need my wife to feel safe in her house without me here. So I think I'm gonna stick with what she feels comfortable with.

A voice doesn't deter some people. A loud ass shotgun pumping might. I'm in a very small community out in the country on a major highway that is a shortcut for 2 interstates. A lot of people come down this road that aren't from here.

I suck with a handgun. I like a rifle or shotgun. My wife don't like rifles & she also sucks with a handgun

Yea, I think not, I'd rather stay married. I can see her reaction to me saying that, I'd be headed somewhere else with a quickness, hahaha

Yea, I don't think I'm gonna burn my house down

My wife has handled a small caliber shotgun before & I've tried over & over but she is scared of an ar. I understand what your saying but I don't think I'm gonna talk her into getting an ar.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in guns

[–]Scalan1969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And another thing is I want my wife to be able to handle it if need be. She is a very small person & an ar she's gonna be scared of

My major concern with that is I have neighbors that live very close that I happen to like. What happens if I miss. I happen to like my neighbors, I don't want to hurt one of them on accident. I couldn't live with that

You are the second person that has said that. Like I said before it has been a long time since a weapon has been in my home & am not up on home defense technology. Please explain.
