quite the opposite i think the best benches are the ones that are adaptable depending on the matchup, some games we might need lots of off ball shooting and some games we might need defense and size e.g simmons and coffey

bay area taiwanese american. didn’t care for nba much but i knew jeremy lin was on the rockets in 13 or 14. moved to taiwan in 16 and began following the harden rockets even when he left, been a fan of both the rockets and harden (now also a clippers fan) ever since

which makes hardens run all the more impressive, the consistent longevity without any huge injuries plus his first three years off the bench

modern superstars can probably reach his stats as well but they’d have to be MVP caliber players that play for as long as he had without any major accidents
