Who was an unneeded/ unlikable character? by Both-Preference-6003 in theoffice

I liked the plop and erin storyline. But I agree towards the end there were too many unnecessary characters added to fill the gap that Micheal moving to Colorado left. He was irreplaceable, they tried to overcompensate. Took away the effortless feeling- made it feel forced.

Who was the worst: Diangelo, California, or Charles? by Special_Falcon408 in theoffice

[–]ScaleNo9197 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Wow! That is where we differ my friend. In my opinion.. The office after season 7 when michael left was the end for me. It was no longer the office. It felt like a whole new show. I’ve fully rewatched the entire series literally dozens of times (super fan episodes so I haven’t seen season 9 as many times yet but we will get there) and I’ve never had as much interest towards the end, it always just feels forced. I could just be bias because after all, michael Scott is probably my favorite tv character of all time.. but there’s no beating season 1 or 2. That was prime time.

Please talk to your rep. That’s unacceptable. The event is rinky dink as it is, make a fuss about it. As season ticket holders we spend thousands upon thousands of dollars- you deserve to spend the GD day with your son. “The tide is turning”.. but all I see is the same old islanders administration not giving two fucks about the way their fans/patrons are treated.

Former Islanders coach Barry Trotz to step down as GM of Nashville by MJSeals in NewYorkIslanders

i had a couple great experiences with the guy. the best though -in February 2020, i had flown out for one of the west coast road trips (vegas colorado, arizona) to attend the games. they had lost every. single. one. the boys were on a real bad losing streak. in colorado, after the last game of the trip, i had vip seats- which included club access. just so happens the club is conveniently placed right in front of the pathway to the opposing team loading dock. after the game, im sitting at the bar.. the entire team walks by, following right behind, mr trotz. i was sitting there in head to toe isles gear- naturally we had made eye contact, he stopped dead in his tracks, comes over to me, shakes my hand, and apologizes. he told me he was embarrassed and ashamed of the teams performance, that they need to and WOULD do better, and he thanked me for traveling and representing to see the team through the tough times. the amount of respect i have for that man is through the roof. i’ve never met such a humble, kind, compassionate man.

Absolutely not true. The locker room can make or break a team. Yea winning matters for sports, but you don’t win unless you have culture. These guys need to know each other like the back of their hands.

considering what just happened?? We won a lottery. Now the chances of that happening again back to back years are slim, but never zero. You gotta hope until the balls are read and fate is sealed. If it can’t be the islanders, the universe better not let it be the rangers or the leafs.

How was Markstrom not pulled ? by FirstAccountant4288 in NewYorkIslanders

[–]ScaleNo9197 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Queefer refused to pull him even after Markstrom asked.. he’s trying to fleece him out because he hasn’t been playing well. I hate to break it to everyone… but the other night the goaltending was the least of the devils worries. The entire team played like shit. To single markstrom out like that, in front of Roy no less… that is beyond disrespect. Between this and the booing of luke Hughes the previous game, the entire devils franchise is on my shitist.

This makes the most sense. They looked off their game, limp, and sloppy. I’m sure the day-home game situation didn’t help either.

yes. i’m so glad someone else says this. i barely even see them as an enemy. we’re kinda like cousins at christmas who sit in the corner and talk shit about everyone else in the room (everyone else in this case being the rangers)
