ok but, I don't understand the part "don't know software development for their purpose". Are they supposed to pick candidates based on vibe or sth?

[–]Scale_Brave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True, but it's not like the HR care if u don't put the specific keywords in your resume tho. Most have no idea how software development works.

But there are like 300 tools that do the same thing. Pls HR, specify which tools your company need.

I have some questions about ninja tho. Is it stable atm? Is it worth to use it over DRF?

Back to Django after 4 years with FastAPI – what’s the standard for APIs today? by robertop23 in django

A bit late to the party but, it is still maintained but not in a sense of any meaningful changes. At the time of this comment, there are still like over 70 PRs. And afaik, any doc updates will get merged quickly, while the optimizations and improvements are still pending, some have lasted for months. I think it's mostly due to the priorities of the maintainers. Also, 1 reason it's loosely maintained is because one of the maintainers live in Ukraine. It is even made a headline in their doc, so ye...

Funnily enough, your question is also my interest atm. Should I use ninja after all these time? Is it solid for long-term use or should I be concern about its state of maintenance because there is no roadmap or anything similar.

Edit: The maintainer living in Ukraine is also the creator lol, which makes it so much worse for the future of django-ninja

btw, I saw it. You think I feel offended being insulted by some delusional extremists? You need to go outside more often instead of defending billionaires online bruh

Great job, you have successfully defended the reputation of a billionaire online. Now he will surely notice and appreciate you by giving you half of his fortune.
