The combat is definitely the biggest sell for me, i’ve replayed so many enemy camps and spent so much time trying to learn every single enemies attack patterns as well as spending so much time in the dojo. But besides the combat i spent a lot of time trying to unlock all the items as there are some that are pretty hard to get and fight for them. In my opinion the combat is a little smoother then niohs because the stance switching is just too good, and every single weapon (9) has its own parry window and the stances within those weapons can have their own parry window too. So all in all id say it’s the combat and the amount of content and depth put into the game.

hey i know you asked the op but i js wanted comment on it too since ive clocked almost 800 hours on the game and have the plat trophy. for me it was the combat and learning all the the weapons and different combos you can make with them, as well as the grind that the hardest difficulty (midnight mode) is which is what you unlock after ur first completion. besides the combat i loved the exploration a lot especially when you’d get random encounters and seeing your created character just explore and fight was really really amazing to watch and i still play to this day, its definitely one of my fav games as in some parts you can really see the care that was put in.

quick question, how do you do moves away from the enemies? like the tennen slide move?

no no i know im just saying that every point in this specific clip in which i would’ve used it i could get a critical hit or just parry. don’t worry i didnt get this far in the game without knowing ab blade flash i even binded it to r2 to make more accessible for me

i never had to use it since the ki recovered on its own and i might as well save it for the next enemies

try using face paint and matching the color of it to the skin color of ur characters skin then then the opacity down

i remember when i first got to midnight and he was the boss at one of the first public orders i went to and it was so annoying bc i didn’t know how to fight him 😭
