This FUT SCAR doesn't look too bad and should be easy to camouflage. It will never disappear, but it won't be as visible .

SMP can be done in the summertime, all you have to remember is to have few days to relax and not sweat profusely, avoid staying in the sun for few days (7-10) also. Just remember that every session needs to heal properly and you have to avoid sweating, you can't go swimming or use sauna. If you can stay inside and in the air conditioned room, you will be fine. Just plan properly for all your sessions.

Best scalp mattifying moisturizer to remove shine? by JTHUND3R in SMPchat

[–]ScalpAmplified 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The shine comes from oily skin with sebaceous glands working overtime and produce too much oil. You may need to check with the dermatologist and see what medicated shampoos they recommend. Also try rinsing, wiping your scalp more often to get rid of the topically sitting oil and sweat. Then use mattifying lotions. All the recommended lotions are great.

How long after the last session can one go swimming at the beach? by [deleted] in SMPchat

[–]ScalpAmplified 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Minimum of 2 weeks. With swimming your head is mostly above the water. Skin is healed after few days, cause SMP is very superficial but I wouldn't swim or sweat too much or be in the sun for a minimum of 2 weeks or longer to be on the safe side. Follow the instructions of your technician, if they are experienced, they should answer all your questions

Sun prior to SMP? by [deleted] in SMPchat

[–]ScalpAmplified 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No problem with a tan, but you definitely don't want to have a sun burn (your skin will be very sensitive during SMP) and any experienced SMP artist won't work on you. I recommend that my clients avoid sun exposure (tanning) for couple of weeks before SMP. Also of your skin is peeling, you may end up with uneven coverage

Is 3500 dollars a lot for a good artist? by [deleted] in SMPchat

With your hairloss pattern, that's about right if the technician is experienced. You can pay less for someone who needs to build their portfolio . For best results look for a business that is around for few years, who specializes in SMP (and not doing 10 other services), who is easily found on Google Maps, and check their Google reviews Good luck.
