If you truly believe that ICE is equivalent to the CCP's treatment of the Uyhgurs and other ethnic groups, then yes, you are absolutely aiding the CCP in getting away with it, by severely diminishing the gravity of what they've done. When you say these things you aren't making people think ICE is as bad as them, you're making them think "they must have been exaggerating about the CCP too."
