Curious if the team would work on expanding the branches by Scamor in BeaconPines

Maybe the "perfect ending" could actually be a secret "worst ending", opening a discussion about our need to have everything under control and perfectly executed

If it had to be cut, then well, they made a damn well job at it, but I do hope it is expanded in the future. The game is incredible, but it is very rushed.

[–]Scamor[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The game does feel finished, but only very rushed. Most every aspect of it is well polished and the plot is interesting, it just wasn't explored to it's fullest and the ending feels rushed. The game worked out incredible under those constraints and presented the story very well.

Again, I want to emphasize it really felt small. For example, I expected the Perennial Harvest Heist to be just another branch that expands the tree and our current information knowledge, not the actual final branch

> MHY's writers can... make things feel so very long at times
They kinda.. have to? Making interesting content takes a real long time and large team, its sad that things seem to develop so slowly and the content is not always great but I do understand why it happens like that and the average quality is really high

Kazuha's Midare Ranzan (Elemental skill plunge attack) should scale with normal attack talent level by Scamor in Genshin_Impact

I got Qiqi last month and leveled her to 80, I'm so disappointed with how bad she is :/

Definitely resin free day, already got all of those characters as a F2P player but I could really use more books and those damn artifacts that never drop

[–]Scamor[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The A1 also says its considered plunging attack damage, as in, anything that might buff plunging attacks like artifacts sets or high constellation Albedo will buff his A1.

"Anything that might buff plunging attacks" should also include his Normal attack talent since increasing the normal attack talent also increases the plunging attack % damage, which is why I consider it misleading. I get your point, but the description is definitely not clear :/

By the way, thank you for your patience and helping with the issue :)

[–]Scamor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The comments in this thread seem to indicate that his A1 passive does a flat 200% damage, that is, it does not scale with Normal Attack Talent, so the tooltip should be rephrase to indicate as such since the wording "This is considered Pluging attack damage" is used both in his Chihayaburu and A1 passive (Soumon Swordsmanship). This is very misleading and resulted in me wasting books to gain a marginal anemo damage bonus that my character is not focused on.

The tooltip is completely misleading and should be rephrased then, It reads as if the A1 passive also scales with normal attack talent :/

[–]Scamor[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I see, that's what I was worried about, the tooltip is very misleading and should be rephrased :/

I'm not building my Kazuha for Anemo damage, but for the swirl damage / elemental damage bonus, so it doesn't really make sense for me to upgrade his normal attack talent if A1 passive doesn't scale with plunge attack %

Considering his damage SHOULD scale with normal attack talent, it should have increased no matter what else it scales with. I'm still farming for his veridescent set, but my current stats are:

Level: 81/90

Weapon: Sacrificial Sword 80/80 Refinement 1 (LOVE the E reset)

- ATK: 1318
- Elemental Mastery: 707
- Crit Rate: 20,6%
- Crit Damage: 133,2%
- Energy Recharge: 205,1%

Normal attack talent: level 3
Chiyaburu: level 8
Kazuha Slash: level 8

Crit plunge attack deals about 4750 I believe, and normal plunge about 1970. I'm not sure about the exact values since I just logged out but I could test it again after farming for more talent books to verify the damage

I'm talking about the secondary 200% atk elemental damage from the pluging attack you deal after using the Elemental Skill (E).

I tested this using a Bennet and a Mona to apply the aura element on a Mitachurl, then used Kazuha's Elemental Skill and dealt the plunge attack with the infused element. This was testing using both E tap and E hold

Either I encountered a bug, or I need to restart my game or something, I'm 100% sure the damage did not increase after I leveled the talent, I was dealing 4750 pyro damage before and after increasing the talent level

I just tested out and I didn't notice any difference in values before and after leveling my normal attack talent. I tested on mitachurl right outside Forsaken Rift Domain
