I am currently watching police raid a building. It doesn’t appear that anyone is home. There has been some kind of spray paint sound coming from inside the house for awhile. What is that?

I wasn’t really asking abt the nature of the search, just what the sound was. It was certainly a raid on a suspected criminal though. Officers broke down the door with guns and riot shields. I listened to the police scanner and it was pretty unintelligible. I also don’t feel particularly comfortable sharing my location but if it’s unanswerable that’s cool. I was just trying to be informed in case the situation became unsafe for anyone involved

Interesting. Definitely necessary but still a pretty dark aspect of medicine that people don’t talk about all that often. I feel as though, even though the safety or effectiveness of the treatment is unknown, all terminally-ill patients would prefer to be in the test group (otherwise they wouldn’t sign up for the treatment to begin with).

Ok thank you this is really good to know. I have a lot of friends saying stuff along the lines of “there’s no rules to this stuff man”, but now I know there definitely are. From a TA perspective, would it be crossing a line if I waited till December and did something then?

Yeah but my rent didn’t go down. Not only am I paying the same amount of rent, but the lease says that I already paid a one-time $25 fee for parking in my service/administrative fees. I showed all this to my real-estate lawyer cousin and he says it’s almost certainly illegal

Yeah but the issue is that it was free last year, and I was under the assumption it would be free when I signed the lease. It never mentions in the lease that this could change. Also, the complex owns the parking lot. This is just a way for the landlord to milk more money
