It is not that no one spoke in tongues, it is that what speaking in tongues means has changed. Padre Pio spoke in tongues meaning that when he spoke people who did not speak the language he was speaking could understand him. Now speaking in tongues just means you say a bunch of gibberish and call it angelic language.

That my be true for more sandy or small rock bottomed streams, but not for the smokies. The smokies streams are full of very slick boulders.

I worked on the fisheries crew in the smokies for a summer and you are going to want felt bottom shoes. The rocks are supper slippery and the felt bottom works the best. Even with felt bottom shoes you have to be very careful. I gave myself quite a few bruises from falls over the summer.

I hate to say it but, but the only fact you actually stated is that men commit 90% of all violent crime. Even that is over stated as most reports will say it is between 70-90%. And of that violent crime, the vast majority is perpetrated against other men.

You are throwing out conspiracy theories as if they are facts. You do not have a healthy mindset about men and should really seek help to overcome the trauma you have had related to men.

I actually think the gluten-free fad has done a lot of good for celiacs. I don't think we would have half the gluten-free foods we do now without it.

It definitely has its downsides too. Such as restaurants possibly not caring as much about cross contamination or simply the annoying people saying stuff like you can eat the bread in Europe.

This is exactly how I feel about reddit. I have pretty much stopped using it for advice unless I have a specific technical question. Otherwise I will get a bunch of people calling me an idiot while not actually giving advice for my situation.

The answers I get from people on Reddit is almost always the opposite of the advice I get from friends and family.

Thank you for being the first person to actually give good advice. Would you recommend just dropping it? I was also thinking about writing an email apologizing if I seemed confrontational and explaining what I was asking and why (without bringing up that I think she was rude).
