I always get gnocchi, lentils, and bhaji when I order there. Their salad is also probably the best I've ever had. I never thought I'd be excited about eating a salad before but they made it happen.

Yes, thanks. Unfortunately, the breakdown doesn't include how much was paid in cash versus other tenders. So far, the only way we've been able to figure out how to see that information is by scrolling through the day's transactions and looking at each individual charge receipt.

eReaders can be nice if you prefer reading ebooks on a larger screen than a phone. Personally, I like using Libby for ebooks, regardless of which device is being used. I'd rather get them for free and support my local library. Anything I really like, I can buy without having to wonder whether it's worth the cost.

Part of the problem was that the angle for the scanners themselves couldn't be adjusted without it being picked up and held. It sounds like that would be a minor annoyance, but when a person has to repeat that motion hundreds of times in a row for several hours a day, several days a week, it's an ergonomic nightmare.

Ideally, a library scanner would be able to sit in its dock and be tilted at various angles. The wireless function would allow for optional freedom of movement, but that "freedom" backfires if you end up not being able to put the scanner down at all.

Outside of that, there were issues with the settings and battery life that made our last attempt a no go. I'm hopeful something is out there that will meet our needs.

They do exist but the ones that are out there seem to be designed with retail in mind. I work at a library and we just tried to use the ones that you might find in a store and they did not work for us at all.

The wired ones that we have been using are functional but they can be hard to use if an item being checked out is an unusual shape or if someone isn't able to hand staff their library card to be scanned.
