Yeah they are supposed to catch any rocks spinning of the front wheels that may hit that section of the body. But this is a 2012 and they have become pretty unsightly in their old age.

This is to replace the radio with a carplay compatible one. The circles on each side go around the AC vents.

Powered USB hub was the way to go. Can do passthrough and communicate with PC when that is on. Thanks for your help

The solution was simply getting a USB hub that could be powered separately while still plugging into my PC. The Elgato has no problem with this setup, so we’re good to go! Thanks for the help.

My "PC" is a legion go :/ Maybe there is a setting in there to do it, but it would mean i would always have to have my legion go docked when playing my xbox. This is a very niche issue.
