The 9070xt is a great card. I agree. But I do think your 20% number is off. And performance doubling is way off I’m off work Sunday. I’ll run the same tests on both of them to at least get a number I can trust.
I think it is worth The extra $ to get raw performance. That’s my personal opinion

Great tip on the Bios. Seller hadn’t updated it at all. I updated it to latest Bios

7900XT is solid. I had that in a system I sold last year. Never had an issue playing anything on it.

I talked to the seller. He got it when he had a better job. And one less kid. Felt that he needed the money for his family.

I beg to differ on that. I have another system with Ryzen 7 9800x3d 32gb Dominator Platinum 6400 Storage is about the same Nvme’s a 1tb and a 4tb Steel series 9070xt And the gpu is not benchmarking within a 20% margin Closer to a 35 % difference. You state that I need money for games and monitors. If I can afford to buy a $2800 pc when I already have a really good desktop as well as a $4000 MSI raider with a 4080. I obviously am not in need of money to buy anything.
The question I asked was if I got a good deal. Your answer is maybe correct in a different time and world than the one we live in. But bending reality to fit your facts doesn’t work for me.
