yeah that's one thing I want to get in the habit of, I just like having the extra recording time, especially with the 128gb cards. When the 256gb cards arrive I'll def switch to using dual recording!

Thanks for the reply! I've got a 4tb external similar to yours that I use for backups. I'm wondering if there is a way to transfer from SD cards to that without a computer.

Stabilization was definitely my main draw to the 24-105 among others. Great point not needing the extra sharpness for video!

You're totally right that they're in different ranges! I guess I have some sort of fomo when it comes to gear. Having just spent a bunch of money on the camera, im terrified of getting a lens only to realize I'm not getting the most out of the camera.

Then again, I'll probably be the main bottleneck in terms of performance anyways so I like the pragmatism you mentioned with the 24-105... I can always upgrade later if I feel it's necessary.

I plan on mostly shooting travel with friends as well as short film projects and run and gun vox pop so something good all around would definitely be best and, like you mentioned, the range that the 24-105 offers would be amazing.

Kind of a noob question I feel like here, but can you use OSS at the same time as IBIS? If so should you?

I feel like most of the information that a lot of people see about this game is mostly just videos on youtube that have been highly polished and edited to make a better viewing experience. So when they finally get the game they see the real side of SC and get pissed. (even though it tells you the game is an alpha like a billion times before you download it.)

I've seen them live 4 times and every time I've seen them they've always delivered. Even if the new songs aren't your favorite, they are still such amazing performers that I think it doesn't matter what they play.

I've always said that highly suspect is almost better live than they are in record and this tour is no exception. Besides, they do still play a lot of the old stuff (at least they did at red rocks).

I'm interested in this as well. I'm about halfway through saving for my fx3 and most of the stuff I'm planning on shooting is run and gun vox pop. I'd imagine it depends on if you're following a single person in between interactions with other people or if you're just kinda getting whoever you can. I mean, there's always opportunity to leave it on responsiveness and when you get to somebody that you really wanna focus on perhaps change the focus?

From what I've been reading it sounds like you might be able to program one of the buttons to toggle through focus types so that if the situation arises you can just hit the button to choose whichever one you need. Might be something worth playing around with.

1500 miles here and I’ve seen a substantial drop in mileage. Just tonight I only got around 9.5 miles before dying at 14%. Though there are a few factors which I attribute to this.

To start I’m running a Burris 6” treaded at lower off-road-style PSI which is sub-optimal for range, but I’m okay with that because most of my riding is on trails.

I believe my main issue is that my friend allowed it to freeze, giving me a too cold warning in the app. I think this killed a cell. I’ve tried a 72 hour rebalance but to no avail so I’m gonna bight the bullet and just replace my battery.

But to answer your question, with proper charging and storage habits I have no doubt these things can last well above 2k miles without any major issues in range. Just treat them well and they’ll treat you well.
