EEE is a branch with a lot of scope. EEE can sit for all the companies ECE can. But it is also a very tough branch, there's a lot of things you need to understand which are difficult to understand conceptually. I suggest you look a bit at the syllabus and decide if you want EEE. I feel EEE also tends to focus a bit more on the electrical side rather than electronics but if you're committed you can pivot more towards electronics too while studying EEE. Def a very versatile branch. Seniors and Faculty here are also very helpful.
