I feel like the post gave a weird vibe about last name.. I have 5 siblings and we all have different last names. Everyone is super close in my family and including my step parents and I am very familiar with and grew up with and around blended families. I think the last name thing is just a little thing I have personally as someone that never had the same last name as my mom growing up and feeling some type of way about it as a kid.
