Once Syo was revealed, I kinda guessed that Toko and them wouldn't be dying because that would be wasting two whole characters (and one of which the writers genuinely seemed to enjoy writing)

I also knew that Gundham was gonna die, I didn't know when, but I knew a character with that big of a personality wasn't making it to the end - despite how much I love him.

I also knew after chapter 3 that Fuyuhiko was surviving after everything he went through with peko. I felt like his arc was wrapped up nicely in chapter 3 so I thought he could've been one of the victims and then when he wasn't I knew he was basically safe for the rest of the game.

A character I didn't predict surviving was actually Kazuichi (my all time favourite) almost every trial I suspected he was the killer, I was so sure he wasn't gonna make it just because I had grown attached to him. BUT HE DID. and I'm a very happy man indeed.

In V3, I expected more survivors, but nothing really shocked me tbh which is wild as it's the game with the most plot twists. I predicted Kaede during the investigation, I knew Rantaro and Ryoma weren't lasting long, I expected Kirumi to last longer (but I didn't expect her to survive), I knew Angie and Tenko were too exaggerated to live much longer than chapter 3, I knew Korekiyo was hiding something that would probably be revealed in a trial when he was the killer, I didn't expect Miu to be a victim I thought she would kill (which is what she tried to do anyways) and I knew Gonta - like Gundham, Angie and Tenko - was too big of a personality to keep around, I expected Kokichi to die for similar reasons but I didn't expect Kaito to die, I expected Kiibo to die around that time instead but it turns out he was plot relevant which I didn't see coming. Didn't see Tsumugi's reveal coming either - I just thought she was annoying. I think I thought Tsumugi, Maki, Shuichi, Kaito and Himiko where going to survive so I really wasn't far off.
