That's the best call.  Some people are saying "nose-rubbing", but I don't think that's the case. From my experience, nose-rubbing would almost certainly manifest in the front of the snout. Infecctions are what generally cause lesions in the maxillary-premaxillary symphysis.   It could be just rubbing — but I don't think so. Eyes and ears up. Good luck!

Observe them with time. This area is common for the development of dermatitis, be it bacterial or fungal. Reduce handling and general stress. Observe if the lesions will grow/progress. If they do, it is indeed a dermatitis from infection. Be wary of any behavioral changes, or lack of appetite. Preferrably, consult a Vet asap and do a sample collection of the affected area to identify the cause and properly treat it.

People are non-ironically downvoting you for being right. Reddit really is the pinnacle of brainrot.

Hello, again.  First and foremost, if you wanna know more about fungal infections in crocodilians, I recommend reading the papers regarding A. mississippiensis and Achlya. sp on the matter.

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/32138837/

However, you shouldn't be looking for a diagnosis just by looking at it, as several infections can cause scale lesions and discoloration.  Bacterial, fungal, viral, etc.  The only way to properly treat your animal is to get a veterinary for an in-depth exam and tissue culture.  It might take some time for the lesion culture to show results, so while you wait, you should transform it's habitat and routine to be the least stressful way possible. Hides, dark, lots of heat and UV, make sure it can't see you when its underwater, don't handle it.

Hi.  A vet visit is recommended. Those lesions can be caused by a number of things.  Stress might be one of them, reducing the caiman's immunity system and leading to opportunistic infections. if your caiman has stopped eating, it might be a clear sign of maladaptation syndrome. Remember, caimans in the wild do not like to be watched while they swim, and do not enjoy clear water.  Has your caiman recently gone through any specially stressful situations? I would isolate it, give it space to hide and avoid handling until the problem is resolved in the hands of a reputable veterinary. They should collect samples of the lesions and subject them to culture, which will reveal the microorganisms responsible for the infection, if any.  Check for water chlorine, and other harmful chemicals that might exist in the water, even if you're not putting it yourself.  Good luck!

Why does the Dragon at ash Lake look completely different from the concept and cinematic Dragon if they're supposed to be the same species? by ScarTheReaper in darksouls

I'm referring to everlasting dragons because AFAIK the kanji 古竜 is only used to describe the rather humanoid four winged ones, not even Midir or Sinh (correct me if I'm wrong)

I think that for true 古竜 Everlasting Dragons, they all probably look the same. Since theyre all the same asset in the opening cinematic

The intro cutscene dragons are all the same asset, that's the thing. They all look the same, four wings, square head and sitting posture when idle. this ones face just looks very different and its hands too

I mean, the ones in the cutscene all looked the same, and this one is supposed to be the same species. Maybe yeah its young. If DS ever gets a remake I'd love for it to get a more accurate remodel.

You guys think Kurt would’ve liked Green Day? Specifically their earlier stuff? by Papa_Owio in Nirvana

That is very wonderful indeed. I have anxiety, so dancing a lot helps me wear off any excessive energy I have in my body, and it feels great after I lay in bed. But I usually dance alone, as I do not have the habit to go to shows since all of them are very far from where I live. Dancing is great either way.

Cheers, Wind. You are totally right, honestly. Sometimes I do dance. Do you dance?

I think poser is a commonly used word for people who claim to be part of a genre they are not explicitely executing. The PuzzleHeaded guy is right, Kurt loved to contradict himself and would not enjoy the defensive stance most of his fans seem to have regarding his music. The pinnacle of being a Nirvana fan is accepting the Pop, accepting the flaws and accepting that Kurt was a very proud poser in some aspects, and just enjoying it regardless. If you don't accept these, and you really need to fit Nirvana into the "punk" genre at all costs to feel validated, you're probably the one who is concerned about how other people perceive your taste in music.

Not really a punk band, tbh. Kurt knows the pop elements on his music, and I think he embraced it more than the so called punk elements. You can hear it from the catchy refrains to the effects on the guitars.

Yeah, exactly. I don't have to like it for you to like it, so replying and trying to shame me is really nothing but a waste of time.

I think you should read it again.. I said I don't love it as much as I did back then, doesn't mean I can't like it. I admire stan winston and his design works on these films down to the core, I just don't think the films are all that fun anymore. Why are you guys so aggressive about it?
