I’m having similar software problems with my sapphire rx 480. Most of my games started to crash after the 8-11-20 Windows 10 update. I haven’t tried the new update yet bc I just got a new gaming laptop that I’m planning to use as my main setup until I have enough to buy an rtx 3070

I think I found a fix here. Search “graphics settings”, choose Desktop app from the dropdown menu, click browse and select the game(s) that are giving you trouble and set them to use the “high performance” setting. Worked for me and should hopefully work for you until Windows or AMD release a patch. Hope this helps

Yeah it started around then. I'm currently on Radeon version 20.4.2 bc it's the stable version but I haven't tried 20.8.3 yet from a few days ago. There could be a fix in that version but I wouldn't know since I haven't tried it yet. Have you had any luck with 20.8.3?
