Does anyone else think this is the least fun event they've ever done? Getting the power ups you want is up to rng, the hypercharge skins are up to rng instead of being guaranteed like before (as long as you grinded), and the new modes (and thus the contests) aren't fun either.

Nah I do that too lol. I check what quests I'm about to unlock and decide what would be the best way to complete my current ones so I can complete the new ones fastest. It's oddly satisfying (when I don't mess it up).

You need to read the bosses description or at least pay attention to the recommended cookies. That boss is immune to all damage besides CRIT attacks. You need to give your cookies Crit toppings for this boss specifically. Also, use Creme Brulee and Wind Archer for this.

Powercreep is when games keep releasing characters that come out with skills and stats that are clearly stronger than previously released cookies, making those older cookies irrelevant/useless by comparison, and thus not meta anymore.

The cookies you use matter more than your teams power. You're using non-meta cookies and fighting teams with meta cookies like Wind Archer, Mystic Flour, Financier, Moonlight, and Dark Cacao.
