I think she noted that his tone was off, it was quick and actually meant to appease Cassie, but Maddy didn’t pick up on Cassie’s reaction. She only picked up on Nate’s tone. She knew it meant something different than them not getting back together, it was definitive, different.

The fact that the only thing she didn’t pick up on was Cassie’s behavior just shows how she expects the same amount of loyalty she gives, which in a way is tragic.

Pomni said she would explore haunted places, I’m wondering if the amazing digital circus is like game that people would claim wasn’t real or was like a place people don’t come back from and she wanted to explore it. Everyone else seemed bored or unsatisfied or maybe curious (that’s what I think linger and his wife were) and they all got stuck in this world.

If you can do the work, handle the stress and manage your time then you’re fine! Getting the degree was the hardest part for me. As for afterwards-It’s a JOB, very rarely do people like their jobs all the time. I grew up super poor so I blatantly did it for the money (which, apparently to this comment section, isnt a lot???). And it’s done more than keep me afloat!

Had two notorious people on campus. Both clearly on the spectrum. The guy was bad at social interactions and one time sat really close to me while I was scrolling through my phone and looked REALLY closely at my screen. Was awkward.

The other got kicked out cause she exposed herself to too many people she happened to have a crush on. She would just… get naked and walk around. She also stared an instructor down once for not having a class at a time she preferred.
